Pair of Edward VII sterling silver gilt anointing spoons, one yellow gold and one rose gold, made as souvenirs for the coronation of Edward VII. The spoons are virtually full size, being slightly smaller than the 266mm original.
Hallmarks are clear and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, leopard head mark for London, London date letter f for 1901, and makers mark W J M S B R D for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd (Walter, John, Michael & Stanley Barnard & Robert Dubock).
They each measure 10" or 253mm & 258mm long, with 50mm bowl widths, and have a combined silver weight of 211.1g.
