Edward VII plain sterling silver vesta case, with a plain curved contoured form, a personalised engraved front of entwined letters J A H, engraved date 6·4·09, and a gilded interior.
Hallmarks are clear, although the makers mark has wear, and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, anchor mark for Birmingham, Birmingham date letter i for 1908, and makers mark W H H for William Hair Haseler.
It measures 39mm high by 40mm wide (45mm inc fixed suspension ring), and has a silver weight of 22.2g.
