George III sterling silver tablespoon with an Old English pattern stem, and initial engraved terminal P. Hallmarks are clear, but makers mark worn. They consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, crowned-leopard-head mark for London, London date letter C for 1798, and makers mark P B A B, for Peter & Ann Bateman.
