George III sterling silver sugar tongs with plain Old English pattern stems. Hallmarks are clear but the makers mark is worn. They consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, London date letter K for 1805, makers mark E L for Edward Lees, and the George III duty mark. No city mark, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period.
