George III small sterling silver vinaigrette, with a rectangle shape, a hinged lid, and a stippled and engraved leaf design to the lid and base. Inside is gilded, with its floral pierced hinged grill. Hallmarks are worn but readable, and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, anchor mark for Birmingham, Birmingham date letter l for 1809, makers mark S P for Samuel Pemberton, and the George III duty mark.
