George III sterling silver condiment salt spoon with a Hanoverian pattern stem and a shovel spoon bowl. Only simplified hallmarks, which are worn but readable, and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, and makers mark S A for Stephen Adams I. No city mark or date letter, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period, but assayed in London.
