Victorian pair of salad servers, with sterling silver gilt implements and terminals, and ebony wood handles.
Hallmarks are clear, although the makers mark has been overstamped, and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, leopard head mark for London, London date letter E for 1880, makers mark S S for S Smith & Son (Stephen Smith), and the Victoria duty mark.
They each measure 12" or 308mm long, with 56mm wide spoon bowls. The silver weight is unavailable, but has a total item weight of 181g.

Some scratch wear to the gilding from use. Ebony handle on the fork is duller than the spoon handle.
