Victorian sterling silver sugar tongs, with fiddle pattern stems, scrolled scallop style spoon bowls, and initialled engraving to the bow A D W.
Hallmarks are worn but readable, and consist of the lion rampant mark for sterling silver, tree-bird-bell-fish-&-ring mark for Glasgow, Glasgow date letter L for 1882, makers mark W C for William Coghill, and the Victoria duty mark.
They measure 132mm long, by 18mm wide at the bow, with 18mm wide spoon bowls, and have a silver weight of 40.0g.
