Victorian sterling silver 1 pint tankard mug, in a tapered form with a large crest of the Saddlers Company, and a hinged lid. The inside of the lid is engraved "In commemoration of the Charter granted by Richard II to the Saddlers Company 20th Mar 1395. Raymond Louis Roumieu 1895".
Hallmarks are clear and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, leopard head mark for London, London date letter T for 1894, and makers mark W B J for Edward Barnard & Sons (Walter & John Barnard).
It measures 158mm long (inc. handle & lid) by 144mm high by 103mm wide at the base and 91mm wide at the rim (102mm wide lid), and has a silver weight of 531.7g.
