Very small George III sterling silver vinaigrette, with a plain rounded rectangle shape, and a hinged lid. Inside is gilded, with its lozenge pierced hinged grill.

Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1805, with the George III duty mark, and the makers mark C&B for Cocks & Bettridge.

Condition
The vinaigrette has old deposits inside, but no dents, splits, or repairs. The lid doesn't close flush to the base, and there is light surface wear consistent with age and use. Some light wear to the hallmarks, but still clear enough to be legible.
