The inset agate has no chips or cracks. The silver has no splits or repairs, but some dents and surface wear consistent with age and use, especially to the inside which has some deep scratches. The lid doesn't sit true against the base - overlaps at the front slightly. The hallmarks are tarnished, with slight wear to the makers mark, but well defined and legible.
