George III sterling silver sugar tongs, with an Old English & thread pattern stems, and an initial engraving to the bow L.
Hallmarked in London, with the makers mark WS for William Sumner I, and the George III duty mark. No city mark or date letter, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period, but circa 1790.

Condition
