George III Regency sterling silver sugar tongs, with plain fiddle pattern stems, and an initial engraved bow MS.
Hallmarked in Exeter, 1816, with the George III duty mark, and the makers mark GT for George Turner. No city mark, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period.

Condition
The sugar tongs are clean, with no dents, splits, or repairs. There is light surface wear consistent with age and use. Some wear to the hallmarks, and the maker's mark has been double stamped, but still clear and legible.
