George IV sterling silver vinaigrette, with a rectangle shape, a hinged lid, an engine turned decoration with floral borders, and an engraved rectangle cartouche to the lid EW. Inside is gilded, with its acanthus pierced hinged grill.

Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1828, with the makers mark IB for John Bettridge, and the George III duty mark - Although George IV in date, Birmingham articles were still being stamped with the George III duty mark.

Condition
